Felipe Neto, who is called “Brazilian Elon Musk” by some and has 42 million subscribers on YouTube, explained that he is not only a big investor of Bitcoin and Ethereum, but also bets on many cryptocurrencies.
Just days after saying, “Anyone who does not invest in cryptocurrencies will regret it in the future,” the influencer revealed that he is thinking about altcoins for this year and talked about which altcoins he is investing in. He told the good news about that he has invested in Cardano (ADA), Solana (SOL) and PancakeSwap (CAKE) and these are “coins of the year”.
He also states that he believes in the potential of Terra (LUNA) and Axie Infinity (AXS), although he missed the opportunity to buy these cryptocurrencies. Neto made it clear that these are just his opinions and “no value whatsoever”. He pointed out that the market carries a high risk and it is important to try not to act with the influencer wave.
INVESTED HEAVILY IN BITCOIN, ETHEREUM AND BNB
In response to the original tweet, Neto mentioned other cryptocurrencies he owns and stated that he “openly” has large investments in Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) and invests in Binance’s cryptocurrency, BNB. Neto said he had invested heavily when the brutal fall came and already had a huge profit margin. However, he still believes that these cryptocurrencies will grow a lot.
All of the cryptocurrencies proposed by Felipe are in hype, especially Cardano, which has reached the top 3 of the largest cryptocurrencies after its recent appreciation, trailing only Ethereum and Bitcoin. On the other hand, SOL (Solana) is also breaking resistance levels and has continued to gain in value in recent weeks and currently ranks 9th in the crypto market by market cap, and it qualifies as news.
The fact that one of the biggest names on YouTube in Brazil is so actively talking about the crypto market and even proposing cryptocurrencies is interesting in itself and, according to many, shows the mainstream adoption of these assets.
WHO IS FELIPE NETO?
Felipe Neto is a well-known figure in Brazilian online circles. Surprisingly, he’s now one of the most closely followed figures in the cryptocurrency sector.
After making headlines by mentioning a number of altcoins, including Solana (SOL), according to the last news, Felipe returned to the subject of the market, revealing how much he benefited from his wagers. In addition, he criticized the forms of investment in banks and even people who use his image to try to make money from investors.
Felipe Neto recently announced which altcoins he was “betting” with a potential appreciation, and Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), and PancakeSwap (CAKE) were among his bets, which drew the attention of the cryptomarket.
FELIPE NETO’S TWEETS ABOUT CRYPTO-INVESTMENT
Felipe Neto showed how much his bets paid off last weekend, revealing that he doubled his investment in Solana in two weeks and tripled his investment in Ethereum in three months.
But his cryptocurrency profit wasn’t the only thing he mentioned: he also mentioned how little his traditional investment in the bank had yielded, with only 0.4 percent of its portfolio appreciating in August. Having one of the most well-known personalities on the Brazilian internet talking about it, on the other hand, surely attracts a lot of attention.
With an air of grace, while the tweet about cryptocurrencies had a rocket emoji, the one about banks had a sloth emoji. It’s no secret that investing in crypto is far more profitable than investing in financial institutions or the traditional market.
In another tweet, Neto said he was feeling the downside of getting involved with cryptocurrencies. According to him, so-called financial market experts posted on social media that the YouTuber was observing their lives and that, as a result, they were doing so well with their investments.
